“The passion for automotive and the desire to dedicate myself to it, with the added difficulty of not having contacts in motorsport were decisive to want to be in this University Course“.
“I studied engineering and worked as a junior engineer in a technical department of pharmaceutical machinery that I left to start the course. I was chosen to be all the preseason of Formula E and to help in technical office of Campos Racing Technologies. I have been in various FE projects, such as torsion and dynamometer tests in IDIADA, Kinematic and Compliance in Michelin and wind tunnel in Pininfarina. I have collaborated in different projects of new electric vehicles (R + D + i) in the technical office of Campos Racing Barcelona”.
Álvaro Formoso. Course Student
“When I finished university, I was able to work in a company, but despite being happy, I decided to give up my position to do this Master. It was a risk in his day, but now looking back I do not regret at all, quite the opposite“.
“During practice, one of the most interesting things in my opinion was being able to be stuck for three months at the team’s facilities. Every day you can observe in detail an F2, GP3, an EuroFormula Open or a WTCC, and have the privilege for months to be able to ask mechanics and engineers technical aspects and learn from it. I did internships in the GP3 team helping with data from cars, sensors etc. This year, I have been fortunate to continue in the team as a data engineer in GP3.”
Javier Pérez. Course Student
“The passion, curiosity and attraction I feel for motorsport joined the daily routine he had acquired in my work were key to start the Technician Course in Campos Racing. I had a comfortable and stable position as a production engineer and I decided to start this new stage in my life“.
“I was fortunate to practice with the GP2 team, which performed the functions of data engineer. Without doubt a unique, demanding and rewarding experience that I will not forget, especially the event held in Monaco”.
“Now in the team I work on the development of a prototype buggy. They are not races but I’m enjoying the experience and gaining valuable knowledge of the design and manufacturing of a car with impressive performance.”
