Oriola aims to continue his podium streak in the FIA WTCR with his CUPRA TCR car. Filippi expects to get back in front again at the Slovakia Ring, which hosts the final round on European soil of the season
The FIA WTCR heads to Slovakia for its final European round of the season as the four remaining events will take place in Asia. Slovakia Ring, located 40 kilometers east of the capital Bratislava, has a long-standing presence on the touring car scene as it hosted the World Touring Car Championship for five seasons.
Team Oscaro by Campos Racing is definitely a podium contender every weekend as Pepe Oriola has four rostrums to his name. Spaniard Oriola made a strong start to the season in Marrakech scoring a third place finish. Later, Oriola secured his season best at mammoth Nürburgring: a second place. More recently, the Barcelona native stepped third onto the rostrum twice in Vila Real. Corsican John Filippi already collected points in the series and his goal is to get the best possible result from his CUPRA TCR.
There are two races scheduled on Saturday at 12.00 (CET) and 19.00 (CET) with a third race on Sunday at 11.45 (CET). They will be broadcasted live on Eurosport.
