In Race one Filippi retired following an incident on lap one but then, in the second one, finished 11th ahead of Yvan Muller. Hugo Valente, with another Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1, was able to be on the starting grid as the mechanics worked all night to repair the car. But another crash on lap four damaged badly the car and Valente was forced to retire and was unable to compete in the second.
The WTCC will resume in Morocco in about a month and a half.
