Rosenqvist and Heidfeld look to continue their winning run in the FIA Formula E with Spark-Mahindra M3ELECTRO cars run in collaboration with Campos Racing
The FIA Formula E moves to North America to end the 2016-17 season with two doubleheaders in the United States and Canada. New York, sometimes called the capital of the world, will host the penultimate round and Mahindra Racing Formula E Team and its duo of Felix Rosenqvist and Nick Heidfeld are looking to carry winning form into the weekend once again.
Rosenqvist took his maiden win in the series at Tempelholf Aiport in Berlin and stepped second onto the podium the following day. Besides, he also scored his second pole position of the season. On the other hand, Heidfeld brought 3rd place finish home in race one. Rosenqvist currently sits 3rd in the Drivers’ championship on 86 points and Heidfeld lies fifth on 63 points. Mahindra Racing Formula E Team sits third on 149 points.
The 1.947km circuit in the Red Hook neighborhood features 13 turns and will wind its way around Pier 11 and the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.
Race 1 will take place on Saturday at 16.00 (local time) and race 2 on Sunday at 13.00 (local time).
