The 15-year-old American driver will take a crucial step in his racing career after building an impressive track record in top international karting competitions
Campos Racing is pleased to announce the addition of Vivek Kanthan as a new driver to compete in the 2025 F4 Spain campaign with one of its single-seaters. Kanthan is the second driver confirmed for the upcoming season following the recent announcement of Portuguese driver Noah Monteiro. They both will make their F4 Spain debut with Campos Racing, a team with decades of experience nurturing young talent.
Kanthan is a young rising star in American motorsport, born on May 22, 2009, in Westport, Connecticut, and currently residing with his family in New York. His first taste of competition came in karting in 2019, where he immediately made an impact by winning the New York State Championship. Following this promising debut, Kanthan competed in national championships in his home country, finishing third in the SKUSA Pro Tour Championship in 2020. His successes continued the following year when he won the Rotax US Max Challenge and claimed the runner-up spot at the SKUSA Supernationals.
His leap to Europe came in 2022, a season in which he was crowned world champion at the ROK World Superfinal and Italian champion in the ROK Italia Trophy. Over the past two seasons, he has competed in the OK-Junior and OK categories, where he continued to shine brightly.
Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): "I would like to welcome Vivek to our team. We are delighted to have a driver of his talent and potential with us in F4 Spain for 2025. We have been following his career and progress in karting for years and know he is ready for the next step in his racing journey, which is single-seaters. We have a lot of work ahead during the winter months to prepare for the upcoming season, which I am sure will be a successful one for all of us."
Vivek Kanthan (Campos Racing Driver in F4 Spain): “Super excited to begin my single-seater racing journey with Campos Racing in the Spanish F4 Championship. Campos Racing is one of the top teams at every level, and I'm incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to work with them as I step into a new category.”
