The Slovak driver is the latest young talent announced by the Alzira-based squad to line up at the wheel of one of its single-seaters in the forthcoming F4 Spain campaign
Griffin Core by Campos is pleased to announce the signing of Matúš Ryba to compete in the 2025 F4 Spain season with one of its Tatuus cars. The Slovak, only 15 years old, will thus team up with Belgian Thomas Strauven, who was already confirmed by Griffin Core by Campos a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, Campos Racing has also officially announced that its driver line-up will consist of Miguel Costa, Vivek Kanthan, and Noah Monteiro.
Ryba is one of the most solid hopes of Slovak motorsport for single-seater racing in the coming years. After a brief stint in karting, Ryba made the jump to single-seaters in 2024, competing in the full Spanish F4 season while also participating in some races in the British and Italian championships. More recently, he also represented Slovakia in the FIA Motorsport Games in Formula 4, achieving a notable performance for his country.
The 2025 F4 Spain season will kick off at Motorland Aragón on March 29 and 30 before heading to the second event in Los Arcos on May 3 and 4. The two races outside Spanish borders are scheduled for the Algarve on June 7 and 8, and Le Castellet on June 21 and 22. After the summer break, the championship will resume in Jerez on September 20 and 21, Cheste on October 18 and 19, and will conclude in Barcelona on the weekend of November 15 and 16.
Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “I want to welcome Matúš to our team. In his first year in single-seaters, he showed rapid and clear progression, and in 2025 his goals should be even more ambitious. He is a very young driver with significant room for development, but we know he has the necessary talent to become an important name in the upcoming F4 Spain season in partnership with Griffin Core by Campos.”
Matúš Ryba (Griffin Core by Campos Driver in F4 Spain): "I am super excited and proud to be part of Griffin Core by Campos for the upcoming Spanish F4 season. It is a big honour and responsibility to race for such legendary team that is so successful on all the levels of single seater racing. After my rookie season I am really looking forward to working hard to deliver strong performance throughout the whole season. With Griffin Core by Campos I have all the perfect conditions to improve my career and finish the season on high. I hope that we will be super strong as team together with my new teammates."
