The Portuguese youngster is an emerging talent in Portugal and he becomes the most recent addition to the driver line-up in the 2022 F4 Spain season
Campos Racing is pleased to announce that Portuguese Manuel Espirito Santo will race with the Spanish-based team for the rest of the 2022 F4 Spain season. Espirito Santo will join full-season drivers Nikola Tsolov, Hugh Barter, Georg Kelstrup and Filip Jenić at the wheel of another halo-shod Tatuus T-021 machinery in Campos Racing colors.
Espirito Santo, a 18-year-old driver, stepped up to single-seater racing after competing in go-karting in his home country and other international racing event such as the CIK-FIA World Championship and FIA European Championship. By joining Campos Racing, Espirito Santo expects to continue solidly improving as a racing driver in one of the most hotly-contested F4-based racing series.
Adrián Campos (Campos Racing Team Principal): “I would like to extend a warm welcome to Manuel (Espirito Santo). He is a talented driver who has already displayed his racing skills. Our goal is to help him to continue making further improvements and I feel confident he will be fighting up the front on a regular basis with us.”
Manuel Espirito Santo (Campos Racing driver of F4 Spain): “I am really excited to be joining Campos for the rest of the season. I know they will help me in my goals for the season, so we are going all out in this third round in Valencia this weekend and I believe we will be able to achieve good results.”
