The Polish driver is another promising talent jumping up to single-seaters with Griffin Core by Campos after a successful career in karting
Griffin Core by Campos is pleased to announce the signing of Janek "Jan" Przyrowski to compete in the 2024 season of F4 Spain defending the team's colors. Przyrowski becomes teammate of Peruvian Andrés Cárdenas, who was recently confirmed as a driver for the team behind the wheel of another Griffin Core by Campos-run Tatuus F4 car.
Jan, born in Rossoszyca on August 1, 2008, made his karting debut at just four years old and since then his career has experienced unstoppable growth. The young Polish prodigy debuted in the "Baby Rock" series in 2015 before competing in his home country between 2016 and 2019. It was precisely in 2019 when Przyrowski made his debut in European competitions, finishing third at Rok Cup Superfinal. The following year he continued to improve and finished third at WSK Euro Series in Mini60 category, as well as becoming world champion of Mini Rok that same season. After moving up to OK Junior category, Przyrowski was European and World runner-up during his campaign in 2022.
Despite the challenge posed by a Formula 4 racing car, Przyrowski is already working closely with his engineers at Griffin Core by Campos to arrive as prepared as possible for the start of his journey into single-seaters.
The 2024 F4 Spain season will kick off at Navarra Circuit on 10-12 May. After two events abroad, which are scheduled at Algarve (7-9 June) and Paul Ricard (5-7 July), the series will be back to Spain at Motorland Aragón (26-28 July). After the summer break, the season will resume in Cheste (13-15 September). Jerez (4-6 October) will host the sixth round with the season finale taking place in Barcelona (8-10 November).
Adrián Campos (Campos Racing Team Principal): "I want to give a warm welcome to Jan on behalf of Griffin Core by Campos. He is a driver with an extensive pedigree in karting and we will provide him with everything necessary for his transition to single-seaters to be as smooth and effective as possible. Our team has always been characterized by nurturing these young talents, helping them grow little by little so they can show their full potential. In this sense, I believe that Jan is another driver destined for great things in racing. He has already shown us his fantastic skills during testing, and now it's about gaining experience in the category to translate it into results."
Jan Przyrowski (Griffin Core by Campos Driver in F4 Spain): “I am very happy to join Griffin Core by Campos. My goal for this year is to win the Spanish Formula 4 championship. It won't be easy, there are many very good rivals with whom I have competed before and I realize that I have a difficult year ahead of me. However, I am in the best place to achieve this.”
