The 2024 F4 Spain season had its penultimate chapter at the Circuito de Jerez, where both Griffin Core by Campos and Campos Racing took home a valuable haul of points. Ernesto Rivera narrowly missed the podium with his Griffin Core by Campos car, while James Egozi scored points in all three races in a satisfying weekend for his interests, and Jan Przyrowski finished seventh and ninth. Less fortunate were Andrés Cárdenas from Griffin Core by Campos, Nathan Tye, and Enzo Tarnvanichkul from Campos Racing, as none of the three could replicate their teammates' performances.

After the free practice session on Saturday morning, where Przyrowski set the fourth-best time, the first qualifying session took place at midday. In it, with twenty-seven drivers within the same second, Mexican Rivera was the best of the Alzira drivers, achieving the fifth fastest time with a lap of 1m43.354s. Egozi stopped the clock at 1m43.415s, which gave him eighth place, preceding Przyrowski, who was 9th with his time of 1m43.526s. Further back, Tye was 14th, and Tarnvanichkul would start 18th. Peruvian Cárdenas was to start from the back of the grid after a challenging Q1.

On Saturday afternoon, when the first race took place, Rivera gained a position at the start and moved up to fourth place. Egozi and Przyrowski were also in the top ten in those initial stages. However, Cárdenas lost numerous positions after making progress, while Tye had to retire on the sixth lap after pitting. After 32 minutes of racing, Rivera finished fourth while Egozi concluded in sixth place. Przyrowski crossed the line in 13th, while Cárdenas, after regaining numerous positions in the final part, finished 19th. Thai Tarnvanichkul, after a turbulent race, finished the first race in 26th place.

Sunday started with the second qualifying session, where Przyrowski led the way for the Alzira team, setting the fourth fastest time with a lap of 1m43.181s. On the other hand, Rivera and Egozi were eighth and ninth with their laps of 1m43.328s and 1m43.566s. Briton Tye was just outside the top ten with a time of 1m43.582s, which earned him 11th place, while Cárdenas was two places behind with a personal best of 1m43.680s. Tarnvanichkul was 23rd with a lap of 1m43.922s.

The second race, lasting 25 minutes plus one lap, saw Rivera and Egozi start fifth and sixth, respectively. When the lights went out, the two drivers swapped positions and began a tight race with the cars closely following each other, but without significant changes in the classification. Until lap 10, when Tye was hit by another car, causing damage to one of his rear wheels, which led to the deployment of the safety car. Two laps later, the race resumed without major changes, and Egozi and Rivera crossed the finish line in fifth and sixth place. Przyrowski, who improved throughout the race, finished seventh. Cárdenas and Tarnvanichkul, the latter after losing several positions in the last lap due to an incident, finished 25th and 30th.

In the third and final race, when the lights went out, Rivera stalled on the track, and two drivers starting from the back could not avoid him. The serious incident, without physical consequences for the involved drivers, caused a red flag. After twenty minutes, the race resumed behind the safety car, with Przyrowski becoming one of the protagonists by defending his fourth place against Keanu Al Azhari. Egozi also ran in the leading group, in seventh place. Near the end, the race was neutralized by the safety car due to an incident and concluded behind it. Przyrowski crossed the line in fourth place, but a penalty from the stewards dropped him to ninth. Thus, Egozi moved up to sixth place. Tye nearly scored points with his 11th place, as did his teammate Cárdenas, who finished 12th. Tarnvanichkul closed the weekend with a 17th place finish.

With just one meeting remaining, Rivera is fifth in the standings with 126 points. Egozi and Przyrowski are eighth and tenth, respectively, with Tye in eleventh.

The final round at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is scheduled for November 9-10.
