Campos Racing’s driver line-up for the opening round of the FIA Formula 3 season will feature a change, as Patrick Heuzenroeder takes over the #3 Campos Racing F3 car. Rivera, who was set to make his debut in the category, continues his rehabilitation process following the vertebral injury he suffered during the final round of the Formula Regional Oceania Trophy in New Zealand.

Heuzenroeder already had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the FIA Formula 3 car just a few weeks ago during the official pre-season collective tests held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where the Sydney-born driver made a strong impression in his first outing. Heading into the season-opening weekend, Heuzenroeder will also benefit from the added motivation of racing in front of his home crowd.

Campos Racing begins the new campaign defending the Teams’ Championship title secured in 2025, with a trio at Albert Park consisting of Heuzenroeder alongside Frenchman Théophile Naël and American driver Ugo Ugochukwu.

Patrick Heuzenroeder (Campos Racing Driver in FIA Formula 3): “I’m very excited to be given this opportunity to make my debut in FIA Formula 3 at my home Grand Prix. It will be a steep learning curve but I am looking forward to it and can’t wait to get on track! Thank you to my supporters and family for this opportunity.”
