Campos Racing is ready to rock again as the FIA Formula 3 Championship has scheduled three post-season collective tests in October. The first one takes place later this week in Jerez (5-6 October) with two others in Barcelona (10-11 October) and Imola (23-24 October). The 2023 season came to an end a mere month ago but preparation work ha already begun towards 2024.
The Valencia-based racing team is proud to announce young aces Mari Boya, Oliver Goethe and Sebas Montoya to drive its Dallara F3 machinery in all three tests. Danish driver Goethe and Colombian Montoya enjoyed their first taste of F3 with Campos Racing and both drivers made an excellent impression as they scored points on their debut in the series. Spaniard Boya is an emerging talent of the Spanish scene and another driver with a promising future ahead.
Adrián Campos (Campos Racing Team Principal): “We are already focused at 120% on post-season testing as the 2024 season kicks off here. We have enjoyed a quite successful 2023 season with wins and podiums and we will put even more effort to continue growing next year. It’s a pleasure to have such young, talented drivers joining us for these collective tests.”
Mari Boya: “I’m looking forward to starting the post season testing We have already spent some days working on the simulator and I felt quite comfortable with it. I have already had the chance to compete earlier this year in Jerez, which is one of my favorite ones as I clinched my maiden F4 there. I’m feeling super motivated to drive the F3 car again.”
Oliver Goethe: “After the break, I’m very excited to be back on track in the Campos Racing F3 car for the post-season tests, I already know the team from last year and it’s a pleasure working with them.”
Sebas Montoya: “I’m really excited to be back with Campos Racing for post season testing. We worked together at Zandvoort last year completing a very successful weekend. Hopefully we can have the same speed that we had last year or even more. I enjoyed the experience at Zandvoort working with such a nice team. I hope we will get good fun and learning experience.”
