This Friday marked the conclusion of the three-day FIA Formula 3 collective test in Sakhir, the same circuit that will host the second round of the season on April 12-13. The Alzira-based team participated with its three drivers—Mari Boya, Nikola Tsolov, and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak—testing different setup solutions in preparation for the team’s upcoming challenges. The single-seater has proven to be extremely fast, and now both drivers and engineers are working to optimize its performance further, both in qualifying and race conditions.

On Wednesday, when the drivers hit the track for the first time, Tsolov was the dominant force of the day. The Bulgarian driver set the fastest times in both sessions. The first session, slower due to higher track temperatures, saw Tsolov clock a time of 1m49.336s. In the afternoon, he managed to break the 1m49s barrier, setting the best lap of 1m48.901s. Boya ended the day as the third-fastest driver overall with a time of 1m48.915s, also set in the second session. Meanwhile, Inthraphuvasak was also among the top nine in the morning session.

Thursday was the turn of Spanish driver Boya. After finishing third in the first session with a best lap of 1m48.736s, he climbed to the top of the timesheets in the afternoon, stopping the clock at 1m48.640s. That same afternoon, Inthraphuvasak and Tsolov also finished among the front-runners with laps of 1m49.179s and 1m49.414s, respectively.

Finally, Friday was all about accumulating mileage, and among Campos Racing’s drivers, Tsolov emerged as the fastest with a time of 1m48.567s in the morning session. In the same session, Boya and Inthraphuvasak posted almost identical best laps, clocking 1m48.740s and 1m48.825s, respectively. The afternoon’s work focused on long runs, with all three Campos Racing drivers completing over 30 laps, demonstrating strong pace with higher fuel loads and effective tire management.
