Martí and Lindblad wrapped up three positive days of FIA Formula 2 collective testing in Sakhir in preparation for the next round of the championship at the same circuit

Campos Racing and its drivers, Pepe Martí and Arvid Lindblad, have completed a promising week of FIA Formula 2 collective testing at the Bahrain International Circuit. After covering a total of 379 laps between them, both Martí and Lindblad successfully carried out the extensive program planned for these three days.
On Wednesday, when the drivers hit the track for the first time, Martí finished the first session in second place, despite the slower track conditions caused by the intense heat. In the second session, with cooler temperatures after nightfall, the Sabadell-born driver repeated his position but improved his time by four seconds. Martí stopped the clock at 1m42.584s. Lindblad confirmed the team’s strong form by finishing sixth with a time of 1m43.004s.
Thursday followed a similar pattern, with the first session being notably slower and lap times dropping significantly in the cooler evening conditions. Under the floodlights, Martí set a time of 1m42.959s, placing him sixth, while British driver Lindblad was just a fraction behind with a lap of 1m43.039s.
The final day, Friday, focused mainly on long race simulation runs. During these stints, the Spanish driver set a best lap of 1m48.455s, while his British teammate recorded a time of 1m48.488s.
Now, two weeks of data analysis lie ahead, with full focus on the second round of the championship, scheduled for the weekend of April 12-13 in Sakhir.
