More than two months after the F1 Academy engines last fell silent, they will roar back into action this coming weekend for the fifth of seven rounds scheduled in the 2025 season of the all-female category. For the occasion, the entire F1 Academy infrastructure will head to Zandvoort, the famous Dutch track and a traditional host of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of the Netherlands.

Campos Racing will line up its three single-seaters with its regular drivers Chloe Chambers, Alisha Palmowski, and Rafaela Ferreira. The three drivers of the Alzira-based team have already demonstrated their potential, as evidenced by Campos Racing’s current second place in the teams’ standings. The Spanish outfit has collected 151 points so far, with at least one of its drivers stepping onto the podium at every previous round.

Following the Canadian round, Chambers emerged as the main challenger to Doriane Pin in the title fight. The American, racing under the colors of the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme, currently sits second in the standings with 89 points after winning the third and final race held in Montreal. Beyond that victory and her four additional podium finishes—two second places and two thirds—there is another remarkable statistic: Chambers has secured four pole positions so far with her Tatuus. On top of that, two fastest laps have granted her extra points, further underlining her strength both in qualifying and in race conditions.

Palmowski is currently fifth in the overall standings with 53 points. Representing the Red Bull Racing Academy Programme, the British driver already knows what it means to win this season. She claimed the opening victory of the year in Shanghai, later adding a second place in Miami and a third in Jeddah. Like her teammate Chambers, Palmowski has scored points in every race except one.

Brazilian driver Ferreira has not always had luck on her side during this debut season in the category. Driving in the colors of Visa Cash App RB Academy, her best result so far is fifth place in China. Ferreira, who has scored points on two other occasions, will be looking to increase her tally this weekend and, perhaps, even fight for her first podium finish.

Circuit Zandvoort, located near the beaches of the North Sea, opened in 1948 and has undergone six layout changes since then. The most recent update in 2020 gave the track its current 4.259-kilometer length while preserving its iconic Tarzan corner, the right-hander at the end of the main straight. The banked left-hander Hugenholtzbocht, which offers multiple racing lines, is another of Zandvoort’s trademark features.

The two free practice sessions are scheduled for Friday at 10:10 and 17:30. On Saturday, qualifying will begin at 10:25, followed by the first race at 17:05. The second race is set for Sunday at 10:40. All times are CEST.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “We are ready and very eager to get back to racing as we approach this fifth round of the F1 Academy season at Zandvoort. We have managed to reach the podium at every circuit so far, which shows our strength as a team across different types of tracks. We will fight to score as many points as possible so that we can close the gap to the championship leaders, both in the drivers’ and teams’ standings.”
