As autumn gets fully underway, the 2025 F1 Academy season resumes — and it does so at one of the most unique and demanding venues on the calendar: Singapore’s Marina Bay Street Circuit. After leaving European soil at Zandvoort in late August, the all-female single-seater series now heads into its final two events of the year, first in Asia before wrapping up in the United States.

Campos Racing will field its three cars for Chloe Chambers, Alisha Palmowski and Rafaela Ferreira in Singapore. So far, despite a few bouts of bad luck at key moments, the team’s overall performance has been outstanding, as shown by its second place in the teams’ standings with 179 points.

In the drivers’ championship, Chambers currently occupies third position with 93 points. The American, representing the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme, has already claimed a win in Montreal, along with two second places and two third places. She endured heartbreak in Zandvoort when a technical issue on the grid prevented her from starting the second race. Eager to bounce back, Chambers will aim for strong results to close the gap in the standings at a circuit she already knows from last season.

Palmowski has also proven herself as a race winner in F1 Academy. The British driver, part of the Red Bull Racing Academy Programme, has impressed throughout her rookie campaign. She opened her account in the best possible way with victory in China early in the season, and has since added a third place and two second places, the most recent of those in the Netherlands. Currently fifth in the standings with 73 points, Palmowski will be making her debut at Marina Bay, but her extensive simulator work means she will certainly be among the contenders for victory in Singapore.

Meanwhile, Brazil’s Ferreira will continue her push for stronger results. The Visa Cash App RB Academy driver has achieved a best finish of fifth place so far, alongside three additional top-eight results. Sitting 11th in the standings with 13 points, Ferreira will be targeting another top-five finish to climb further up the order.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit already featured on the F1 Academy calendar last season. At 4.940 km in length, it bears some resemblance to Valencia’s old street circuit. Running through the bay area of Singapore, it winds past the heart of the bustling Southeast Asian city-state as well as the residential district of Kallang. Since its debut in 2008, the track has undergone five layout changes, the most recent in 2023 when a longer straight was introduced between Turns 15 and 16.

The only free practice session will be held on Friday at 09:10, with qualifying set for 13:00 the same day. Race 1 is scheduled for Saturday at 09:00, followed by Race 2 on Sunday at 09:25. All times are CEST.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “Street circuits always pose additional challenges compared to permanent tracks. They are tougher and more technical to drive, and with the walls so close, even the smallest mistake can ruin the entire weekend. Our drivers have been competitive everywhere, and we have had a quick car at every round, so we will fight to be as high up the order as possible — and hopefully that little bit of luck that has eluded us at times will finally turn in our favor.”
