Campos Racing is pleased to announce the addition of Jesse Carrasquedo Jr. to the roster of drivers competing in the 2024 Eurocup-3 season. The seventeen-year-old driver, born in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, will debut in the championship this coming weekend at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, which hosts the fourth round of the series.

Carrasquedo Jr. took his first steps in single-seater racing with Campos Racing, debuting in F4 Spain in 2022 and repeating in the same championship the following year, competing in the full season. The young Mexican driver also has experience in other top international championships such as the Formula Regional Europe and the Formula Regional Middle East.

Thus, with Carrasquedo Jr. at the wheel of the Tatuus previously driven by Suleiman Zanfari, the team’s lineup will consist of Christian Ho, Valentin Kluss, Michael Shin, Noah Lisle, and Carrasquedo Jr. himself.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “We are delighted to welcome Jesse back to our team. He is a driver with whom we worked extensively to prepare him for the transition from karting to single-seaters, and we are very happy that our paths have crossed again. Despite not being familiar with the championship, Jesse has recently gained a lot of experience in other series, and we have no doubt that he will be capable of putting himself at the front from the start.”

Jesse Carrasquedo Jr (Campos Racing Driver in Eurocup-3): “I feel absolutely excited making my return with Campos Racing, because the team is like a second home to me because I joined it in 2021. I’m so grateful having this chance.”
