All set for the second round of the Eurocup-3 season, which will take place this upcoming weekend at the Austrian Red Bull Ring, a circuit making its first appearance on the category's calendar. Campos Racing will field their five Tatuus cars powered by Alfa Romeo-Autotecnica engines for the quintet composed of Suleiman Zanfari, Valentin Kluss, Michael Shin, Christian Ho, and Noah Lisle.

Following a rain-soaked weekend that marked the championship's debut at Spa-Francorchamps and forced the cancellation of the second race, a more favorable weather is expected this weekend. Nevertheless, close action is always the dominant theme at the circuit nestled in the heart of the Styrian Mountains near Spielberg. The heavy rain that fell in the Belgian Ardennes knocked out both Singaporean Ho and Australian Lisle as the wiring of their cars got wet, causing them to stop on track when they had showed podium potential. Moroccan driver Zanfari, with his fifth-place finish, ended up being the best-placed Campos Racing driver in Belgium. Meanwhile, Kluss finished seventh in his category debut and also topped the rookie drivers' classification. As for South Korean Shin, he finished eleventh in his first start in the series.

Red Bull Ring was built in 1969 under the original name of Österreichring. Although subsequent modifications and updates have significantly changed its layout, it still retains many characteristics of its original spirit: a succession of straights punctuated by heavy braking zones that facilitate slipstreaming and overtaking. The third and final sector is the most technical one, but another characteristic is the minimal differences in single-seater championships, with closely contested races that are a true spectacle for fans.

The drivers will face two free practice sessions on Friday at 10:40 and 14:10, while the two qualifying sessions, which will determine the starting grids for the respective races, will take place on Saturday starting from 09:50 and 13:10. On Sunday, the first race, estimated to last 30 minutes plus one lap, will be held starting from 11:25. The second race, of identical duration, is scheduled for 15:25. Both races will be live-streamed on the Eurocup-3 YouTube channel.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): "We are eager to perform well at Red Bull Ring after a somewhat complicated start at Spa-Francorchamps due to the heavy rainfall. There were certain circumstances that prevented us from unleashing our full potential in Belgium, so our goal is to showcase it in Austria. We have five high-level drivers, and any of them is a clear podium contender. We will try to score as many points as possible to climb positions in the standings."

Michael Shin (Piloto de Campos Racing en Eurocup-3): “I feel ready to take on round 2 at Red Bull Ring. We had limited track time at Spa due to the weather, so it will be nice to get underway again. I will try to learn and progress as much as I can throughout the weekend”
