Just one week after the Italian venue, the Euroformula F3 Open returns to action this weekend
Campos Racing will contest the penultimate round of the Euroformula F3 Open next weekend with their four drivers ready to run in contention for podium once again. Jerez always remains a successful proving ground for Campos Racing. The Spain-based team took race wins there in 2015 and 2016 and finished second in 2014.
Finnish driver Simo Laaksonen enjoyed one of his strongest performances of the year at Monza by finishing third and fourth. After his second place finish at the Hungaroring, Laaksonen is keen to continue his run of good form. Matheus Iorio and Thiago Vivacqua will be two other strong contenders for Jerez. Vivacqua, after his unlucky weekend at Monza, will be hungry for revenge. Cameron Das has made it into the points both at Silverstone and Monza on his Euroformula Open debut.
Saturday’s race 1 will take place at 12.35 (CET) with Sunday’s race taking place at the same hour.
