Full-season drivers Valente and Filippi will be joined by local hero Tin Sritrai with another Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1

The World Touring Car Championship approaches its penultimate round of the 2015 WTCC season, which takes place at the Chang International Circuit, in Buriram. The series pay first-time visit to Thailand and, obviously, this will be also its debut at the track. The 12-turn Chang International Circuit is a 4.554-kilometre racetrack and, as a point of interest, the pit garages are located under the grandstand.

Campos Racing Racing will field three cars as the two Chevrolets RML Cruze TC1 driven by Hugo Valente and John Filippi will be joined by a third unit for local hero Tin Sritrai. Sritrai will make his debut in the series and, just like his teammates, the Thai driver shall be eligible for points in the Independents´ Trophy. Valente ranks fourth in the Independents´ Trophy and his last weekend´s first outing in the TCR Series, when the Frenchman secured pole position, provided valuable experience. On the other hand Corsican Filippi sits 7th overall and managed to achieve his best result so far finishing 2nd.

Chevrolet cars won´t carry any compensation weight next weekend.

Unlike other events, qualifying sessions will take place on Sunday this time, at 10.00 (local time), with both races at 16.25 and 17.30.
