The picturesque Nürburgring Nordschleife plays host to Round Four of the World Touring Car Championship
Campos Racing and their driver in the World Touring Car Championship will contest the fourth round of the World Touring Car Championship to take place at Nürburgring Nordschleife – the “Green Hell” and the spirit of the older races- next weekend. Argentinean Guerrieri and Campos Racing arrives in Germany to continue their podium streak at the previous rounds. In fact, Guerrieri just missed out on another podium finish in Marrakech’s race 2 but featured on the rostrum in the remaining races, including his outstanding win in the opening race in Morocco, behind the wheel of his Campos Racing-entered Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1.
After three events, Guerrieri sits fourth in the WTCC Trophy Drivers’ classification on 38 points. On the other hand, Campos Racing currently lies second in the WTCC Teams’ Trophy.
As per results of the events in Italy and Hungary, the RLM-built Chevrolet cars will get 30 kilos added to their minimum weight.
Drivers will hit the track for the very first time on Thursday with a testing session. Friday’s qualifying session will take place at 12.45. Finally, both races are scheduled at 11.20 and 12.45 on Saturday, they both consisting of 3 laps each. All times local.
