The second half of the season starts with GP3 round at Spa-Francorchamps. Campos Racing will field two cars for Alex Palou and Zaid Ashkanani
The GP3 Series season resumes for Campos Racing and their drivers in Belgium next weekend. One of the most famous racing tracks on the calendar hosts Round 5 of the F.1 feeder series with the only Spanish team on the starting grid with two cars.
Spain´s Alex Palou and Kuwait´s Zaid Ashkanani will be behind the wheel of the cars entered by Campos Racing. Despite the efforts made by team and drivers, lady luck was not on their side and neither Alex nor Zaid scored points… so far. Spa-Francorchamps, one of the most technically-demanding racing tracks, is the starting point to turn the tide. As rain is forecast for the weekend, anything can happen. Palou already stepped onto the podium last year during his Formula 3 debut. Despite his youth, Palou claimed second and fifth places proving his innate feel for grip in changeable conditions.
Friday is devoted to practice, with Qualifying starting at 09.45 on Saturday. Race 1 is due to start later on the same day at 17.15. Finally Race 2 will get underway on Sunday at 09.25.
