The Spaniard got two poles, one podium and a win at the races in Okayama
Good start for Alex Palou in Japan. The Spanish driver, linked to Campos Racing, got great results in Okayama’s track. In the three races of this first meeting, the Catalan took two pole position, one victory, one second place and a fourth position.
Palou got the pole position for the first race, but he did not make a good start and he finished in fourth place. He tried to progress and he showed a great pace, but it’s very difficult to overtake at the Japanese track. For the next races Palou improved his performance.
In 1995, Pedro de la Rosa was the first Spaniard to win in Japanese F3. Twenty-two years later, Palou takes the witness of the Formula 1 driver. In the second round, he grabbed his first victory of the Japanese category with a brilliant drive. Finally, in the third race, Palou got a second place, being close to repeat the previous game.
On April 22nd and 23rd the second race of the Japanese F3 will be held at the Suzuka Circuit.
