The summer weeks are turning up the heat in the battle for the FIA Formula 3 titles, with the championship heading to Silverstone this weekend for its seventh round. Campos Racing enters the event as one of the strongest teams on the grid, with drivers Nikola Tsolov, Mari Boya, and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak having already demonstrated their pace just days ago in Spielberg. However, unfinished business remains, as the goal now is to turn all that potential into points and further strengthen the team’s and drivers’ championship campaigns at the British Grand Prix.

Last Sunday’s race at the Red Bull Ring left a bitter taste for Tsolov. The Bulgarian had dominated from start to finish after securing pole position, but was later stripped of victory during post-race checks, losing the 25 points earned on track. Still, the “Bulgarian Lion” is far from giving up and arrives in Silverstone more motivated than ever to make up for the Austrian disappointment. With two victories already to his name—in Bahrain and Monaco—plus three additional podiums, the young Red Bull Junior Team driver is determined to go all-in at Silverstone, a track where he already has solid experience. He currently sits third in the standings with 89 points.

Boya’s upward momentum has been clear in recent events. The Spanish driver, recently announced as part of the Aston Martin Academy, has scored points in six of the last seven races. That includes podium finishes in Monaco and Spielberg—the latter also seeing him set the fastest lap—both achieved in the Sunday Feature Races, which offer the most points. The driver from Les has regularly produced thrilling comebacks, but the focus now is on securing a strong qualifying result to fully capitalize on his exceptional race pace. Boya heads to Silverstone in sixth place with 58 points.

Spielberg also marked a return to top form for Inthraphuvasak. The Thai driver was among the top five in qualifying and went on to finish a strong fourth in the Sprint Race, equaling his season-best result from Melbourne. With 22 points to his name, Inthraphuvasak will aim to confirm his competitiveness at the highly demanding Silverstone circuit.

In the Teams’ Championship, Campos Racing currently sits second with 169 points.

Silverstone is one of the most iconic motor racing circuits in the world. Having hosted 59 Formula 1 Grands Prix, it is considered the true home of British motorsport. The current layout, known as the Arena Grand Prix Circuit, measures 5.891 km and features 18 corners—including the ultra-fast right-handers like Woodcote and Copse, and the famed Maggotts-Becketts complex. Due to the predominance of high-speed right-hand corners, the left-side tires undergo the most stress during the race, although the tarmac itself is not particularly abrasive. True to British weather, Silverstone often brings unexpected rain showers that can turn the weekend into a real challenge for both drivers and engineers.

Free Practice and Qualifying will be held on Friday at 09:45 and 15:00 respectively. The Sprint Race will take place on Saturday at 10:15, while the Feature Race is scheduled for Sunday at 10:30. All times are in Central European Summer Time (CEST).

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “After a weekend of contrasts in Spielberg, Silverstone offers us a new opportunity for our drivers to be where they deserve. Despite the layout changes over the years, it remains a high-speed circuit. That said, our F3 cars, in the hands of our drivers, have shown competitiveness on all types of tracks, so we know we’ll be fighting at the front. As we get closer to the season finale, every race becomes more important, and the room for error gets smaller.”
