Valente and Filippi will drive both Chevrolets RML Cruze TC1 entered by Campos Racing in the land of the rising sun


The World Touring Car Championship resumes in Japan next weekend. The series will make its first Asian stop at the Twin Ring Motegi, the circuit hosting for the first time the WTCC Race of Japan. Campos Racing will enter two Chevrolets RML Cruze TC1 for Hugo Valente and John Filippi, the youngest driver line up in the series. At the moment France´ Valente and Corsisca´s Filippi sit 4th and 7th respectively in Yokohama Drivers´ Trophy. Campos Racing is lying third among private teams.


Chevrolet-built cars will carry 10 extra kilos as per results of the events in Slovakia Ring, Paul Ricard and Vila Real.

Campos Racing drivers will hit Motegi track tomorrow for Friday´s testing, with two free practice sessions and Qualifying on Saturday. Sunday´s races will take place at 14.15 and 15.25, local time.
