Previously confirmed drivers Sean Gelael and Mitch Evans approach GP2 Series´ three-day collective testing at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya taking place on 9-10-11 March

The 2016 pre-season GP2 tests start tomorrow in Spain. There are two different three-day collective testing scheduled before season start in May, to be held at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (9-10-11 March) and Jerez (29-30-31 March). The Alzira-based team will enter two Dallara GP2/11 cars to be driven by Indonesia´s Sean Gelael and New Zealand´s Mitch Evans.

Gelael and Evans will enter this first dress rehearsal focusing on their preparation for upcoming 2016 season, with the main Formula 1 feeder series kicking off at Circuit of Barcelona-Catalunya in frame of the Grand Prix of Spain on 13-15 May.

Later, the series will visit Monte Carlo (26-28 May), Baku (17-19 June), Red Bull Ring (-3 July), Silverstone (8-10 July), Hungaroring (29-30 July), Spa-Francorchamps (26-28 August), Monza (2-4 September), Sepang (31 September-2 October) and Yas Marina (25-27 November).

Both drivers carried out an extremely positive work during test days held at Yas Marina Circuit last December. Evans topped the time charts and Gelael also made great progress over the week.
