The GP3 Series resumes after a two-month long break in the championship schedule. Hyman, Siebert and Falchero get back behind the wheel of their Campos Racing-run Dallara cars

Campos Racing approaches Round Two of the GP3 Series to take place at the Red Bull Ring. After two months, the season resumes and Campos Racing and their trio of drivers expect to put themselves into podium contention.

Frenchman Julien Falchero, South African Raoul Hyman and Argentinean Marcos Siebert made a positive start to the season at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and it was a ground for optimism for drivers and everybody at Campos Racing. Both Hyman and Siebert scored points in Barcelona. On the other hand, Falchero also secured his first top-ten finish of the season on Sunday.

The current version of Red Bull Ring, formerly known as Österreichring and A1-Ring, is a 4.3km layout rebuilt by Hermann Tilke. The track features three long straights, rather overtaking friendly, and a slower final sector asking for a setup compromise. Brake points are always extremely difficult as there are a number of uphill braking areas. The Austrian venue usually has low degradation levels for tires. On this regard, Pirelli has chosen soft compound tires for Spielberg.

Friday will be devoted to testing with a free practice session at 17.50. On Saturday, the single qualifying session in the morning will set the starting grid for race 1 at 09.25. The first race is scheduled at 17.10. Race 2 will take place at 09.10. All times local.
