As the first edition of the FIA Formula E comes to an end, the series approach the title decider in the British capital, hosting the Visa London ePrix and one of the China Racing drivers, whose cars are run by Campos Racing, among the title contenders. Nelson Piquet Jr, delivering a strong performance throughout the season, sits first in the drivers´ standings.
On 128 points Piquet Jr. is the title favorite but there are five other drivers retaining mathematical chance of taking the title. If Piquet Jr scores a point on Saturday, it would reduce his rivals to four. But there is quite a lot at stake.
Regarding the driver line-up, China Racing unveils a new driver. England´s Oliver Turvey joins the team driving a car previously having on board Ho-Pin Tung, Charles Pic and Antonio García. Turvey is a very experienced driver in series such as GP2 and Formula Renault 3.5, two major F.1 feeder series, or other championships and races such as the 24 hours of Le Mans, Super GT or FIA GT3, to mention a few examples.
The 2.925km circuit has some special features: fast straights, high-speed bends, challenging chicanes and braking zones.
Both races are du to start at 4PM, on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
