Nelson Piquet Jr. and China Racing, whose cars are run by Campos Racing, approach the title decider race tomorrow remaining favorites as the Brazilian still is first in the drivers´ standings after today. Piquet Jr. qualified fourth in the morning posting a best lap time of 1:25.144, with his new teammate Oliver Turvey ranking seventh on his debut setting a time of 1:25.829.
At the start, Piquet was running fourth, behind his fellow countryman Lucas di Grassi. Piquet made several attempts to overtake di Grassi and, in fact, they both even made contact. Finally, Piquet Jr. decided to secure fifth place and score valuable points. Turvey brought 9th place home.
