The experienced German ace took advantage of his huge experience to finish 6th driving the Mahindra Racing-run M4 ELECTRO cars. Rosenqvist’s hopes were dashed after hitting the wall
Mahindra Racing, whose M4ELECTRO cars are run in collaboration with QEV Technologies – in which Campos Racing forms part of the shareholding also provides its staff and technology-, experienced good results at FIA Formula E’s event in Zurich. Nick Heidfeld delivered one of his strongest results of the 2017-18 season in the streets of Zuirch.
In qualifying, Felix Rosenqvist clocked a lap time of 1m13.214s to line up tenth on the starting grid with Heidfeld three spots behind with a lap time of 1m13.405s. Rosenqvist made a good start and moved up to eighth. Unfortunately he hit the wall when battling with Jean-Éric Vergne on lap 17. After an unscheduled pit stop, Rosenqvist rejoined the race a lap down. Heidfeld moved through the field to take 6th place at the end. Rosenqvist finished 15th.
The season finale will take place in New York with a double-header event on 14-15 July.
