Rosenqvist and Heidfeld have set sights on finishing on the podium in the forthcoming Paris ePrix with their Mahindra Racing M4 ELECTRO cars

Mahindra Racing, whose M4ELECTRO cars are run in collaboration with QEV Technologies – in which Campos Racing forms part of the shareholding also provides its staff and technology-, will contest the eighth round of the 2017-18 FIA Formula E series.

The all-electric powered championship will pay its third visit to the French circuit after 2016 and 2017. Mahindra Racing achieved strong results last year as Nick Heidfeld and Felix Rosenqvist finished 3rd and 4th respectively in the 49-lap race. The Circuit des Invalides in Paris is 1.93 kilometres in length, the shortest in the calendar, and features 14 turns with a characteristic slippery surface. The pit lane is located along the famous Esplanade des Invalides.

Rosenqvist sits 3rd in the Drivers’ standings on 82 points with two wins and three pole positions to his name. The Swedish driver was leading in Rome when was forced to retire after hitting a chicane kerb. Heidfeld also scored a podium finish this season by stepping third onto the rostrum in Hong Kong. On the other hand, Mahindra Racing lies third in the Teams’ Championship standings on 103 points.

The Formula E race will take place on Saturday at 16.03 (CET).
