The Mahindra Racing Formula E Team, whose cars are run in collaboration with Campos Racing, has another podium in sight with Heidfeld and Rosenqvist
Round Five of the FIA Formula E will bring the series back to Monaco for another race of the all-electric championship in the glamorous streets of Monte Carlo. The Mahindra Racing Formula E Team will enter its two M3ELECTRO cars run in collaboration with Campos Racing for German ace Nick Heidfeld and Swedish young gun Felix Rosenqvist.
After four races, Rosenqvist lies in sixth place on 20 points and his third place in Marrakech was his best result so far in his short Formula E career. Besides, he posted the fastest lap of the race in Hong Kong and Buenos Aires. Quick Heidfeld currently ranks 8th on the standings, just three points behind Ronsenqvist. Just like his teammate, Heidfeld also took a podium finish this season in the streets of Hong Kong.
The Monegasque round was not scheduled on the calendar last year but it was reinstated for 2017. The shortened version of the circuit for the Monaco ePrix misses out Casino square or the tunnel, among others.
The Monaco ePrix will get underway on Saturday at 16.00 (CET) consisting of 51 laps.
