Italy’s Colombo, who currently lies third in the Italian F.4 series, will join the Euroformula F3 Open grid with Campos Racing at season-closer
Campos Racing will enter five cars for the final round of the Euroformula Open as Lorenzo Colombo was confirmed this morning to drive one of their Dallara F312 cars at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 28.29 October. Colombo was born in Legnano (Italy) on 13. September 2000 and is set to take part at season-closer joining Cameron Das, Simo Laaksonen, Matheus Iorio and Thiago Vivacqua.
Colombo sits in third position in the Italian Formula 4 championship with still a round remaining. The new driver of Campos Racing for Barcelona achieved one win and six podium finishes so far. Previously he enjoyed a successful go-kart career finishing second in the Andrea Margutti Trophy and 2nd in the Italian Championship.
