Mahindra Racing’s duo completed a strong weekend where the German driver finished 3rd on the podium ahead of his teammate, they both in their M3ELECTRO cars run in collaboration with Campos Racing. They consolidate third place in Teams’ championship
Mahindra Racing Formula E Team, whose cars are run in collaboration with Campos Racing, has scored another podium finish in the FIA Formula E Championship with German Nick Heidfeld and Swedish Felix Rosenqvist playing a key role at the Paris ePrix event held at Circuit des Invalides, which is located around Les Invalides.
Heidfeld and his teammate Rosenqvist impressed in qualifying and the filled the third row for Mahindra Racing with their lap times of 1:02.611 and 1:02.617 respectively. The pairing of Mahindra Racing experienced a trouble-free race and they remained firmly in contention for another podium. As Jean-Éric Vergne crashed out of the race on lap 34, Heidfeld and Rosenqvist climbed to third and fourth respectively.
With six races still to go at Berlin, New York and Montreal, Heidfeld currently sits fourth on 47 points in the Drivers’ classification. His teammate Rosenqvist lies 6th on 40 points. In the Teams’ classification Mahindra Racing consolidates their third place and sets sights on first two places.
Berlin’s doubleheader will take place on 10-11 June.
