Venezuela´s pilot will make her comeback to the series at the wheel of the same Dallara she drove earlier in the season
Final GP3 Series round before the summer break, which is its fourth one out of eight this year. Campos Racing, the only Spanish team in the series, will change its driver line-up for the Magyar event as Samin Gómez rejoins the team founded by Adrián Campos. Gómez drove one of Campos Racing Dallaras in Barcelona and Red Bull Ring but she missed the British round at Silverstone, with Austria´s Christopher Höher taking her seat.
Alex Palou, who always delivers strong qualifying sessions, aims for podium despite for a variety of reasons he has not been able to convert his brilliant qualifying results into podium finish. Hungaroring is a well-known ground for Palou as, on his Formula 3 debut last year, claimed win and second place beating more experienced drivers. Without doubts this is a good starting point for the weekend. In the same way Zaid Ashkanani targets scoring his first points in the series. Hungaroring is always a hot place in July and, in addition to its bumpy surface, weather always causes driver fatigue, which may become a major concern.
Campos Racing drivers will have their first outing at the “Monaco without the walls” this Friday afternoon with free practice session. Qualifying will take place on Saturday at 9.45 with Race 1 starting at 17.20. Race 2 is due to start at 9.25 on Sunday.
