Luca Ghiotto will be joined by Roy Nissany for Formula 2’s second preseason test at Sakhir circuit
Campos Vexatec Racing heads to Bahrain determined to conclude FIA Formula 2’s preseason testing in positive fashion. Luca Ghiotto and Roy Nissany will be at the wheel of both Campos Vexatec Racing-run Dallara F2 2018 cars at the Bahrain International Circuit, which hosts another three-day collective test starting Wednesday morning.
Ghiotto and Nissany carried out extensive testing in Le Castellet earlier this month to complete more than 300 laps in order to put valuable experience with new cars under their belt. Sakhir’s circuit will still have a bigger importance as the FIA Formula 2 will kick off its season on 7-8 April there. So, Campos Vexatec Racing will focus on collecting as much information as possible about the car’s response to the track.
Unlike France, at the Bahrain International Circuit are expected high track and air temperatures. Besides, high degree of wear and degradation associated with Sakhir track will be another point of interest throughout the week.
