South African Hyman took Campos Racing’s first win of the season in the GP3 Series last weekend and the Alzira-based team expects Red Bull Ring form to continue with their three drivers
Campos Racing celebrated its first win of the season in the GP3 Series at the Red Bull Ring last weekend. Hyman, in his Campos Racing-entered Dallara GP3/16, led flag to flag for a dominant maiden win after starting on the pole position. After this impressive achievement, Hyman and his teammates Marcos Siebert and Julien Falchero aim to continue their strong run at Silverstone Circuit.
Last year, Campos Racing delivered a strong performance as the drivers carrying the Campos Racing banner finished 2nd and 5th on Sunday. So, Campos Racing is looking forward to Great Britain and hopefully to continue building on these positive results.
Due to high-speed corners such as famous Becketts and not particularly long straights, Silverstone favors high downforce setups. Its abrasive asphalt also increases grip but also adds extra wear and degradation for tires. For sure, they will take will take toll at the end of the race.
