Falchero, Hyman and Siebert eye to continue points contention at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps in their Campos Racing-entered cars
After the summer break, the GP3 Series head to Belgium to resume the 2017 season at Spa-Francorchamps. French Julien Falchero, South-African Raoul Hyman and Argentinean Marcos Siebert are back in action to start off the second half of the season in their Dallara GP3/17 cars.
Hyman scored his maiden win at the Red Bull Ring during Sunday’s race and has 27 points to his name in the drivers’ standings. Both Falchero and Siebert have also collected points for Campos Racing throughout the season.
Spa-Francorchamps feature huge elevation changes through the stunning Ardennes forest with several signature corners such as Eau Rouge, La Source or Les Combes. Besides, Spa’s changeable weather also often plays a key role during race weekends.
Free practice session takes place on Friday at 8.30 (CET) with qualifying scheduled later the same day at 17.10 (CET) instead of Saturday morning. Saturday’s race 1 will take place at 17.35 (CET) and Sunday’s race 2 at 9.00 (CET).
