Palou, Ashkanani and ambitious newcomer Maïsano will defend Campos Racing banner at Monza
The GP3 Series approach another round in the frame of the Italian Grand Prix with Campos Racing entering three cars for Alex Palou, Zaid Ashkanani and Brandon Maïsano, the latter confirmed earlier this week by Campos Racing to join its driver line-up at Monza.
Palou got his first points of the season at Spa-Francorchamps, with a good performance on Sunday – he led more than half the race- despite severe tire wear. Ashkanani is another driver who is showing signs of improvement every time he drives the Dallara GP3/11 and “The Temple of Speed” could be a nice place to score his first points. Finally Maïsano is a great addition to Campos Racing already strong line-up and, in spite of he is making his debut in the series, he could become one of the biggest surprises.
As usual, Free practice will take place on Friday, with qualifying early in the morning on Saturday. Race 1 will take place on Saturday at 17.20 and Race 2 on Sunday at 09.25.
