Campos Racing driver finished fourth in race one, his personal best in the GP3 Series, and came ninth in race two. Tereschenko and Ashkanani also managed to finish both races
Alex Palou achieved his best result yet in GP3 Series double-header by finishing fourth at Sochi Autodrom in Russia. Fourth on the grid, Campos Racing driver made a good start and threatened the podium, running in the slipstream of Emil Bernstorff´s car for almost the entire race. But tire degradation prevented from running in podium contention until the very last lap. Finally, Palou crossed the finish less than three seconds behind Bernstorff. Palou got another shot in race two with 5th place on the starting grid. First corners were very tricky and the Catalan pilot dropped to eight. Finally, the Spanish young ace came home in 9th.
Konstantin Tereschenko got his races results compromised by qualifying, when he was impeded by Matthew Parry during his best flying lap. At home round, Tereschenko finished 16th and 17th. Kuwaiti Zaid Ashkanani was given a 10-second stop and go penalty for failing to stop for red light at pit lane exit and took the checkered flags in 19th and 20th.
