The third round of the 2015 GP2 Series takes place this weekend on the unique street circuit in the glamorous principality of Monaco and both Campos Racing drivers, Haryanto and Pic, setting their sights on a podium finish
The historic Monegasque racing track is one of the most beloved ones by drivers. Once again the GP2 Series reach one of their boiling points throughout the season. Campos Racing drivers, Rio Haryanto and Arthur Pic, shall eyeing podium finishes at weekend.
After two events, in Bahrain and Barcelona, the microstate on France´s Mediterranean coastline hosts Round 3 with Haryanto lying second overall with 49 points, with his teammate collecting only three points so far as he was involved in race incidents caused by other drivers. But in Monaco the Frenchman wants to follow in Haryanto´s footsteps towards the podium, as the Indonesian claimed his first podium finish in Bahrain. Last but not least, Campos Racing places 3rd overall in the teams ´classification.
Everything is different in Monaco and the timetable changes for this round. Free practice and qualifying sessions take place on Thursday. Besides Thursday´s qualifying session will be separated into two sessions at 16.15 and 16.39. “Feature race” takes place at 11.15 on Friday and then Sprint race at 16.10 on Saturday.
