The Circuit Moulay El Hassan hosts the second round of the season and both Rosenqvist and Heidfeld look to continue podium streak in their Mahindra M4Electro cars

The FIA Formula E resumes after Christmas break in Marrakech for Round 2 of the all-electric championship. Mahindra Racing, whose M4Electro cars are run in collaboration with Campos Racing, emerged as a strong force in Hong Kong with both Felix Rosenqvist and Nick Heidfeld stepping onto the podium during the season’s curtain raiser. German ace Heidfeld finished third in the opening race and Rosenqvist scored his first win of the 2017-18 Formula E season in race two.

The duo of Mahindra Racing will head to Morocco lying third (Rosenqvist) and fifth (Heidfeld) in the Drivers’ Championship standings. Besides, Mahindra Racing currently tops Teams’ Championship standings.

The Circuit Moulay El Hassan is a temporary street course and runs in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is only 3km long with 14 turns, the race takes place close to the medina. Last year, Rosenqvist secured third place with Heidfeld also making into the points in 9th.

Saturday’s Qualifying session will take place at 12.00 (local time) and the race is scheduled at 16.00 (local time).
