Both FIA Formula E teams whose cars are run by Campos Racing have on eye on the podium as season finale heads to Great Britain with a double header weekend
The second season of the FIA Formula E comes to an end with the Visa London ePrix and Mahindra Racing and NEXTEV TCR Formula E Team, both teams run by Campos Racing engineers and mechanics, eye a good performance. The season finale is slightly different as not one but two races are held next weekend. The Battersea Park Street Circuit, at 2.925km and featuring 17 turns, is the second longest throughout the season. The racetrack goes through the Battersea Park, right next to the Thames.
At the same time, London brings back good memories because Nelson Piquet Jr. was crowned the first FIA Formula E champion last year. Piquet Jr will be joined by local hero Oliver Turvey once again at NEXTEV TCR and Nick “Quick” Heidfeld and Bruno Senna will drive both Mahindra-entered cars.
Saturday´s race consists of 33 laps and is due to start at 16.03 and Sunday´s race, four laps shorter, will get underway at 16.00.
