Russia´s Konstantin Tereschenko arrives in Italy for penultimate EFOpen round second overall. Menchaca, Baptista and Al Ghanem, other strong names at the Temple of Speed
The penultimate round of the Euroformula Open will take place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza next weekend. Campos Racing and Konstantin Tereschenko are playing a leading role in every event throughout the season. At this moment, the Russian sits second overall but only four points behind the leader. Monza will be another hotly-contested event and its two races shall be of paramount importance.
Mexican Diego Menchaca, one of the fastest rookies, Brazil´s Henrique Baptista and Kuwaiti Ahmad Al Ghanem, with their respective Dallaras F312 entered by the Alzira-based team will also aim at improving their Euroformula Open positions.
Recently, Campos Racing and its driver Arthur Pic took second place at the Italian GP2 Series event in Monza.
The Euroformula Open drivers will hit the track for the first time on Thursday, with private test sessions. On Friday, three free practice sessions will serve to gain more track experience. Q1 and Race 1 will take place on Saturday at 10.25 and 15.00. Finally, on Sunday, Q2 and Race 2 are scheduled at 09.00 and 13.00.
