Another GP2 season kicks off for Campos Racing in the GP2 Series, with the team and its drivers, France´s Arthur Pic and Indonesia´s Rio Haryanto, aiming for race wins.

Campos Racing will be on the starting grid of the GP2 Series season opener next weekend, in Sakhir, in the frame of the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix. After two collective preseason testing held in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, it was proven both Arthur Pic and Rio Haryanto were among the fastest drivers with the cars entered by Campos Racing. For Pic 2015 is his second year racing under Campos Racing banner after a brilliant season debut in the series in 2014, when the driver born in Montélimar achieved one race win and three other podium finishes. Haryanto hardly needs any introduction, considering he made 68 starts in the main F1 feeder series. The Bahrain International Circuit is always a difficult track as dust always plays a major role. Besides, the new DRS system will be used for the very first time in Bahrain, and lap times are expected to improve about a second. Pirelli has chosen medium and soft compounds for this weekend.

Free practice session and qualifying take place on Friday, the latter at 20.00 (local time). Feature race is due to start on Saturday at 13.10 and Sprint race on Sunday at 14.15.
