Alex Palou emerged as one of the protagonists of the GP3 weekend at the Sakhir International Circuit. Campos Racing driver already proved to be fast by taking 4th spot on the grid in qualifying. But in race one Palou was forced to pit immediately after the formation lap as a result of a throttle position sensor problem. He spent several laps in the pits before rejoining the race. During Saturday´s race, Palou moved up from 25th to 10th.
Zaid Ashkanani and Konstantin Tereschenko, at the wheel of the remaining two Campos Racing cars, were 17th and 18th respectively on Friday with Kuwaiti driver taking 13rd. Tereschenko was 17th today.
The championship will come to an end next weekend at Yas Marina Circuit (Abu Dhabi).
